About

I’m Shannon Snowden

I’ve worked with many different software and storage hardware products and have successfully completed many large-scale DR implementation projects as the architect and implementation engineer.

So the natural transition for me once I was ready to do something other than implementation was going to the company that impressed me the most – Zerto.  DR and migrations areZerto’s specialty, so I think about and work on this specific topic daily. I don’t have 100 different products to cover and the distractions of trying to understand the problem a specific product is trying to solve.

As a part of the Marketing team, I help develop and articulate the technical marketing message regarding Zerto’s solutions for internal and external groups including clients, prospects, industry analysts, and media. But, there are thoughts, tips, tricks and opinions that didn’t really have a place, so that’s why I have this blog.

I have  been a VMware vExpert a couple of times, a Citrix CTP, a best of VMworld judge and a Tech Field Day delegate.

The things posted here are my own opinions and ideas and are not approved or reviewed by anyone other than me.
